Meadows Turkey Bowl: Collin’s Crew!

Thanksgiving morning I’ll be playing football for an incredible cause. I have the honor of playing for Collin Nemet, a 9 year old boy from my church. In early September, Collin was diagnosed with a brain tumor that required extensive surgery, hospitalization, and will need ongoing radiation and chemo. It would mean the world to me if YOU would help support Collin. PLEASE JOIN COLLIN’S CREW!

DONATE: www.MeadowsTurkeyBowl.com

100% of the donations I raise go to Collin. Choose either Darren Cereshko or Collin Nemet from the dropdown.

As always – Meadows Turkey Bowl GIVES BACK TO YOU! Check out this year’s donor packages!!

Letter from Darren Cereshko

Playing on Behalf of Collin Nemet

I am Darren Cereshko and first want to say that I am honored to be a part of this band of brothers. It is an awesome thing that we are doing and have been doing for years now. I will be playing in my 6th Meadows Turkey Bowl this Thanksgiving. I have been playing football since I was in the fifth grade. I played four years at Baldwin-Wallace College and have been playing flag football since I graduated in 2008. I love the sport and love helping others, so I was naturally pulled towards this great event.
This year I will be playing on behalf of Collin Nemet with everything I raise going to his family. Collin is a 9 year old boy who just a couple months ago had to have surgery to remove a tumor on his brain. If you would like to find out more about Collin and his story you can read more about it here. We belong to St. Ambrose Parish and his mother, Kim, ran the Baptism programs for both of my children. They are an awesome family and Collin is a high spirited kid. I couldn’t imagine going through what he has. He is truly an inspiration!
With the help of my wife and Collin’s Parents, our goal is to try to raise $10,000. We are going to reach out to many friends and family as well as our home church, St. Ambrose Parish.  I am really excited about our team and think we have a great shot to win it all!

Collin’s Story

Written by his mother
Our Man Collin…Collin is a very active 9-Year old little boy. He is a 4th grader at Memorial Elementary in Brunswick, Ohio. Collin has a huge family…Mom and Dad, 2 Brothers and 2 Sisters, a dog, Grandmas and Grandpas, tons of Aunts and Uncles, and 28 Cousins (with one coming in February). Collin also loves his Parish Family at St. Ambrose here is Brunswick. Our little Collin is small, but mighty, with monkey toes and long eye lashes. Collin loves You Tube (his latest favorite is watching people play mini-golf), fishing, golfing, his American Ninja Warrior classes, playing the drums, playing board games and card games, swimming, Polar Pops, Hot Wheels, and Nerf Guns. Collin is a piece of sunshine to everyone he meets…there is just something special about him. Collin breaths air into life and anyone that meets him can see his sweet personality shine.
